About Me

My photo
I am a fictional character from the book, Cheryl's Song. I have been grappling with issues of being saved and keeping my man satisfied. My friend, Perry, is pledging my boy friend's fraternity. The hazing is getting more intense than usual. I'm afraid someone's going to get hurt - or worse...

Why do men have to cheat?
We know a man's heart is not to be beat
And when they look to us
They need our love
Up above
What they do.
How do  you
Take back a man
Who spoiled his love for you
On another?
How do you view those lips
Spouting your name
And the love he gave
To another
Is all you see?
How can it be?
Here's one for me, sisters,
And you can have it too.
I decided his love for me
Is not the measure of who
I'll be
Or am
I'll jam those lies back down his throat
Til he learns the love I'm due
Ain't shared with no
Body.
